Podcast Tip: Radiolab

A friend of mine, Vincent Kriek, pointed me to this excellent podcast and after listening to a couple of episodes I’m hooked. Spending a lot of time in the car travelling back and forth between ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Den Haag it certainly entertains and educates. The podcast’s name: Radiolab.

Before this, I used to listen to audio books. These are awesome but take very long to get through and many trips are needed which breaks the tension of the book a bit. An excellent audio book that however does work is the adaptation of Randal Munroe’s book and weblog What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions.

One of the the episodes that I found particularly interesting was the one about Galapagos. It addresses things I’ve never thought about and really shows why Radiolab is one of the better podcasts as it is also beautifully produced and edited:

Oh, and in case you need a Android app for those podcasts, I suggest using Podcast Addict.
